“You’re funny!” He said, with a sarcastic, but playful, ‘ha-ha.’ He grinned then. “You really are. Your goose noises are on a level, uncomprehendable. It’s way up there.” He said, holding his hand above his head as an example. “The reason that the other geese haven’t tried, is because I got you first. I love your goose noises so much. They’re what attracted me to you in the first place.” He nodded, with a smirk on his face. “Which, if you really think about it.. It would kind of, in a way, make me a male goose,” He stopped for a moment and gave her a questioning look. “..Cuddlecuddle.” He shook his head. “Yeah, that doesn’t really go for me.” He said, laughing. “That.. is really ironic.” He furrowed his eyebrows, then snickered. He turned his attention to the t.v. and saw that she was right. “Are you really watching this?” He bit his bottom lip, to refrain from laughing. “I’ll be sure to memorize everything they say to him, when shit starts to go down.” He chuckled, and nudged her slightly with his shoulder. “Well my mom loves your whole family as well. She loves you too, by the way. She’s always complimenting your singing and saying that I should date someone like you..” He smiled, wide, because he was actually dating her. “And you’re amazing.” He said, before pulling her back into another kiss. It was soft and sweet and he pulled back. “Sorry. I couldn’t resist.”
“That,” Lea placed a hand over her heart. “Is the most romantic thing anyone’s ever said to me. I always aspire to attract people with my goose-like qualities and finally, I have.” She pouted as if she was about to cry with happiness before giggling again and kissing his ear. “A-ha! Your secret is revealed! Darren Everett Bonecrusher Goose Criss. That’s quite the name.” Lea made a mental note to remember that name. It would make a fun anecdote for her inevitable wedding vows to him. “I like your goose noises, Dare! I do! Me!” She grinned widely, scrunching up her nose and squeezing her eyes shut for a second before letting her smile go back to normal. “Of course I’m watching this! It’s mesmerizing!” Lea justified herself, even though she was only watching an eighth of the time. “Okay, no, maybe I’m not entirely captivated. But you’re very distracting, you know! What with your.. your.. curly hair and whatnot.” She gestured ridiculously as she tried to think of a word. “I guess she’ll be very pleased to find out that we’re in love, then,” she smiled. It was the first time that she’d thought of it that way. Before it was just, she loved him and he loved her. The thought made her smile. Lea kissed back openly, letting out a near-silent whine as he pulled away. “Do not be sorry. I love kissing you.”
